Info: The EKTE Dark & Aged is our version of a high-end aged rum designed for the rocks or to be enjoyed straight. This unique expression is sweet and easy to love. A lighter Latin style given by an “Añejo” of Trinidad is married with a Guyanese pot still rum and introduced to an exclusive Barbados blend up to 8 years of age. Together with a fresh Jamaican pot still and a soft touch of vanilla and caramel borrowed from roasted American virgin oak, the EKTE Dark & Aged will nurture your taste buds. This is enhanced by the use of inverted sugars, where we have raised the level of fructose and intensified the natural sweetness of beautiful oak instead.
