About Stolen Rum
Jamie Duff founded Stolen Rum in 2010 from a one-bedroom flat in Auckland, New Zealand, after quitting his job as a lawyer in an investment bank in London, UK.
He was a proud rum drinker for many years but embarrassed of the uncool, undifferentiated rum brands on the market. He set out to change this, and his life.
Stolen, reflects his vision to steal life back – doing what you need to do in life without asking permission from society.

At the heart of the Stolen brand is ‘world class innovation’ of our products – taking rum to places it has never been – and ‘appropriation’ – a DIY punk ethos to everything we do.
We have assembled a dedicated team of entrepreneurial individuals to help in our cause.
We take cues from fashion, music and art – the lenses which Jamie views the world through.
