In the year 1997, rum reserves destined to be used in the making of the Diplomático family of rums were stored for aging. To his delight, Master Tito Cordero discovered that some of these reserves evolved in particularly splendid and unique ways as they lay in the depths of our cellars located at the foot of Monte Andino.

Single Vintage 1997 is the product of the perfect blend of rums from this specific year, aged in American white oak barrels and finished in sherry casks, resulting in a vintage rum presented in a limited edition at 43˚ and featuring a truly singular set of sensory qualities.
