Elements 8 Barrel Infused Spiced Rum is a complex combination of pot and column still distillation. The blend of rums are married with the 10 spices and infused within the once used Bourbon barrels. This process is akin to different barrel finishes seen in the whisky world where blends are finished in sherry, port and Madeira casks for example.
The result is a harmonious balance of 10 St Lucian fruits and spices expertly married with fine aged rum.

Elements Eight ‘Barrel Infused’ Spiced Rum is a meticulously crafted, hand blended rum that is married with 10, all natural, exotic fruits and spices.
Cinnamon, Clove, Nutmeg, Ginger, Star Anise, Vanilla, Lemon, Orange, Coconut and Honey are added within the limousine Bourbon barrels during the tropical ageing to impart flavor.
This complex, natural ‘barrel infusion’ allows the rum to extract and combine the characteristics of each spice with it’s own, creating a harmonious balance and distinctly unique drinking experience.
Sweetness comes from honey, which compliments the rich golden rum base, and on the nose you can smell dried orange peel, lemon, cloves and anise. On sipping it you are rewarded with a complex burst of flavors that slowly draw out allowing you to taste the ingredients one at a time in a lovely structured way. The cinnamon and clove flavors come first supported by sweet vanilla and rich coconut, anise comes through clearly as well, with the subtle hint of orange and lemon ever present and the spiciness of nutmeg and ginger just at the end.
